Serie A Enilive/Cagliari Calcio: Stefano Melis promoted to CEO from 01/07/2024

Stefano Melis has been promoted to CEO of Cagliari Calcio (Serie A Enilive) with effect from 01/07/2024, announced the club on 30/06/2024. The position had not been filled since Mario Passetti's departure in November 2022.

Stefano Melis became managing director business and media of the Sardinian club in October 2022, having previously held the position of chief strategy officer from October 2018 to September 2022. "In particular, he will continue to manage Cagliari's business and media sectors," added the club.

"Stefano Melis' professional career includes experience at Real Madrid CF (LALIGA EA Sports) in the marketing and new technologies sector, followed by positions of responsibility in the sales department of Nike, Puma and Vans. For Nike, he was also global brand director football from 2015 to 2018, overseeing projects in the field of major international events such as the World Cup, the Euro and the Champions League," said Cagliari Calcio.
