LALIGA EA Sports: 1xBet (betting) extends as global partner of FC Barcelona until 2028-29

1xBet, a Cyprus-based sports betting operator, has extended as a global partner of FC Barcelona (LALIGA EA Sports) for an additional five seasons, i.e. over the 2024-2029 cycle, announced the club on 01/07/2024.

The bookmaker, which has been a partner of the Catalan club since the 2019-20 season, benefits from the second level in its sponsorship hierarchy. As part of this renewed agreement, 1xBet will benefit from visibility on FC Barcelona's digital channels and will produce content dedicated to the men's, women's, futsal and Legends (former club players) teams.

Among the European Top 5, the sports betting operator is also a regional partner (3^rd level) of Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1) in Africa and Asia over the 2022-2025 cycle, as part of an agreement signed on 01/08/2022.

• 1xBet had formed several partnerships with Premier League clubs in 2018-19 (Tottenham Hotspur FC) and 2019-20 (Liverpool FC, Chelsea FC), before its licence to operate in the UK was revoked by the Gambling Commission on suspicion of illegal activities during 2019.
