IOC: "Sport and Sustainable Development" summit at the Carrousel du Louvre (Paris, FRA) on 25/07

Emmanuel Macron, President of France, and Thomas Bach, president of the International Olympic Committee, will host the "International Summit on Sport and Sustainable Development" at the Carrousel du Louvre (Paris, FRA) on Thursday 25/07/2024, announced the IOC on 28/06/2024.

"This summit, jointly organised by the IOC and the Office of the French President, will host some 500 participants, including heads of state and government, leaders of international organisations, athletes and representatives of the sports movement (French and International Federations, the Olympic Movement, associations and entrepreneurs), as well as development financiers. It is supported by the Agence française de développement (AFD) Group, which has been strongly committed to these issues since 2018," said the IOC about the event, to be held on the eve of the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, which is scheduled to take place on the Seine on 26/07/2024.
