Serie A Enilive/Venezia FC: a capital increase with 3 new shareholders including APEX Capital

Venezia FC (Serie A Enilive) "has raised significant capital" wth the arrival of three new minority shareholders, announced the club on 01/07/2024.

The three investors are:
• APEX Capital, a Portuguese athlete capital investment company;
• Chiron Sports Group, a Switzerland-based asset management firm focused on the sports and media industries;
• Elliott Hill, a former Nike executive.

As part of this operation, the club "has formed an Operating Committee (OpCo) to oversee the strategic direction of the club.The OpCo is comprised of eleven members who collectively own the significant majority of VFC. The OpCo will work alongside VFC’s Italian board and executive leadership to govern the football club and its operations. The OpCo has four sub-committees focused on sporting, commercial, finance/operations, and venues," said the club, which was promoted to Serie A Enilive following the 2023-24 season.
