UEFA Euro 2024: 3.3 million visitors to the fan zones of the 10 host cities during the group stage

More than 3.3 million people visited the official UEFA fan zones in the 10 German host cities during the group phase of Euro 2024, according to the European Confederation on 29/06/2024.

Among the other figures to remember about the group stage of this European Championship:
• "The tournament remains on course to achieve a global cumulative audience in excess of 5 billion viewers.
• official Euro social media channels on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X and WhatsApp have attracted more than 7.5 million new followers;
• more than 1.8 million spectators attended group stage games across the ten stadiums;
• The group stage brought a 75% decrease in the number of flights taken by the participating sides compared with the 2016 edition (held in France), with more squads using buses and trains."

The group stage, which took place from 14 to 26/06, was followed by the Round of 16 from 29/06 to 02/07. The quarter-finals are scheduled for Friday 05 and Saturday 06/07/2024.
