LALIGA EA Sports/social networks: 143 million additional followers for the 20 clubs in 2023-24

The 20 clubs involved in the 2023-24 LALIGA EA Sports season had a total of approximately 936.2 million followers on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and X on 01/07/2024, nearly 143 million more than on 01/08/2023, according to data compiled by News Tank Football. The Spanish league has an average of 46.8 million followers per club.

Real Madrid CF is the most followed club with 383.8 million followers, including 43.6 million additional followers over the season (+12.8%). The Madrid club is ahead of FC Barcelona, the 2^nd most popular club with 325.2 million followers, including 22.1 million new fans (+7.3%). Club Atlético de Madrid are in third place with 60.1 million followers, including 14.5 million additional followers registered in 2023-24 (+32%).

In relative terms, the biggest percentage growth was posted by Getafe CF, who experienced a growth of 149.9% since 01/08/2023, followed by UD Las Palmas (+145.7%) and Cádiz CF (+120.4%).
