Bundesliga: publication of the calendar for the 2024-25 season (23/08/2024 to 17/05/2025)

The 2024-25 Bundesliga season will begin on Friday 23/08/2024 and end on Saturday 17/05/2025, announced the Deutsche Fußball Liga on 04/07/2024.

The 34 matchdays (i.e. 306 matches) of the 2024-25 Bundesliga include the following highlights:
• The DFL-Supercup between Bayer 04 Leverkusen, winners of the DFB-Pokal/league double, and VfB Stuttgart, runners-up in the 2023-24 Bundesliga, will take place on Saturday 17/08/2024;
• the winter break runs from 22/12/2024 (Matchday 15) to 10/01/2025 (Matchday 16);
• the relegation/promotion playoffs between the 16^th-placed Bundesliga side and the third-placed 2.Bundesliga will be held on 22 or 23 (first leg) and 26 or 27/05/2025 (second leg);
• the DFB-Pokal final is scheduled for 24/05/2025.

The 2.Bundesliga will start on 02/08/2024, three weeks before the first division, and will end on 18/05/2025.
