Warner Bros. Discovery: partnership with Snapchat for content production ahead of Paris 2024

Warner Bros. Discovery, parent company of the pay-TV group Eurosport and streaming platform Max, has partnered with the social network Snapchat (owned by California-based Snap Inc) to "transform the way millions of fans consume and celebrate sporting content," announced the media and entertainment conglomerate on 04/07/2024.

"The two-year partnership will entertain and inspire millions of fans on Snapchat across the UK, France and the rest of Europe with exclusive content that goes beyond broadcast coverage. Eurosport's comprehensive coverage of the Olympic Games Paris 2024 will come to life on Snapchat with a dedicated Olympics show featuring official highlights and behind-the-scenes content every single day of the Games," explained Warner Bros. Discovery.

The American group will also launch a weekly show on the social network after the Games "localised for France and UK Snapchatters, that showcases the best sporting content from the WBD portfolio including the biggest tennis, football and combat sports competitions."
