Eagle Football Group: a record 1.91 million visitors to Groupama Stadium in 2023-24

Groupama Stadium (Décines-Charpieu, Rhône), owned by Olympique Lyonnais (Ligue 1 McDonald's), welcomed a record 1,915,945 visitors over 44 events in 2023-24, announced Eagle Football Group (formerly OL Groupe) on 02/07/2024.

The 28 matches played by OL teams drew 1,044,478 spectators, while 45,000 fans were present at the Groupama Stadium on 25/05/2024 for back-to-back broadcasts of the Champions League finals played by the women's team (Arkema Première Ligue) and the Coupe de France finals played by the men's team (Ligue 1). Olympique Lyonnais Féminin also broke its attendance record, with 38,466 spectators in the stadium for the first leg of the Champions League semi-final v Persusaris Saint-Germain (3-2) on 20/04/2024.

The stadium also hosted seven concerts between July 2023 and July 2024, including one by the Red Hot Chili Peppers and two performances by Taylor Swift.

Finally, eight international sporting events were held at Groupama Stadium in 2023-24, including five matches in the group stage of the 2023 Rugby World Cup. In total, these rugby matches were attended by "nearly…
