AC Milan (Serie A) presented a model of their proposed stadium (48,000 seats), the cost of which is estimated at between €300 and 320m, on 04/02/2015.

The infrastructure project is located in the zona Portello near Casa Milan, the new club headquarters, northwest of Milan. The objective is to develop an enclosure to fit seamlessly into the urban fabric of the Lombard city. The club are being advised in their project by Arup, the British engineering consultancy firm. AC Milan have said they were inspired by the "English model": targeting a family clientele and favouring access to the enclosure via public transport. Hotels, restaurants, playgrounds for children and even exhibition spaces for young artists are included in the project plan.
