Olympique de Marseille: former player Fabrizio Ravanelli to act as institutional & sporting advisor

Former Italian international striker Fabrizio Ravanelli, who played two seasons (1997-1999) for Olympique de Marseille (Ligue 1 McDonald's), is returning to the club as "institutional and sporting advisor," announced OM on 08/07/2024.

"Drawing on his experience and knowledge of the club, his main role will be to represent OM and its president Pablo Longoria, for whom he will be a privileged link on a daily basis both internally and externally, including with national and international bodies," explained Olympique de Marseille.

"Returning to OM, 25 years later, in this advisory role, is a real source of pride for me and also entails a great responsibility. OM and its supporters undoubtedly represent one of the finest pages in my career, and I am enthusiastic about returning to Marseille (FRA) to put my experience at the service of the institution and president Longoria," said Fabrizio Ravanelli, who also coached AC Ajaccio for six months in 2013.
