Montpellier Hérault SC: a tram commemorating the club's 50^th anniversary to run until November 2024

A tram retracing the 50-year history of Montpellier Hérault Sport Club (Ligue 1 McDonald's) will run until November 2024, half a century after the club was founded (in November 1974), announced the club on 10/07/2024.

The initiative is being launched on tramway line 1, as part of a collaboration with the city of Montpellier (Hérault, FRA), the urban area and the TaM network (transport for the Montpellier urban area).

"After the unveiling of its anniversary logo and the reveal of the 2024-25 home kit on the Arc de Triomphe, MHSC is continuing its 50^th anniversary celebrations. Designed as a chronological frieze with a red nose recalling the first colours of La Paillade, the carriages move to the rhythm of the club's decades and successes, showcasing its illustrious glories before arriving at the blue nose adorned with an orange scapular that reflects the image of a big smile. A small nod to the 2012 French league title and the home shirt for this anniversary year."
