Social media: 3 million additional followers for the French players during their Euro 2024 campaign

The 25 players in the French football team gained a total of 3.026 million additional followers on social media (Facebook, X, Instagram and TikTok) during their Euro 2024 campaign, from which Les Bleus were eliminated in the semi-finals by Spain (1-2) on 09/07/2024.

Almost all of these new followers came from Instagram (2.917 million, or 96.4% of the total), while the number of cumulative followers fell on Facebook (-102,000) and TikTok (-44,300) during the competition.

Kylian Mbappé (Real Madrid CF, LALIGA EA Sports) remains the most followed French international on social media, with over 150 million followers. He is ahead of Antoine Griezmann (Club Atlético de Madrid, LALIGA EA Sports), who has over 72 million followers, and N'Golo Kanté (Al-Ittihad Club, Roshn Saudi League) with more than 27 million.

The captain of Les Bleus was also the player that experienced the biggest increase in absolute terms, with 1.671 million additional followers, ahead of Eduardo Camavinga (Real Madrid CF; +405,729 subscribers) and Antoine Griezmann (+202,689).
