Euro 2024: minimum prize money of €25.25m for Spain & €24.25m for England, the finalists

England (The FA), who beat the Netherlands 2-1 in their Euro 2024 semi-final on Wednesday 10/07 to qualify for the final of the competition, are guaranteed at least €24.25m from UEFA, the event's organisers. On Sunday 14/07 at the Olympiastadion in Berlin (Germany), England will face Spain (RFEF), who can already count on a minimum of €25.25m in prize money.

The two federations concerned, which have so far collected €19.25m and €20.25m respectively, will receive a minimum of €5m more after the final, plus €3m if they win. The total received could therefore reach €27.25m for The Football Association or €28.25m for the Real Federacion Espanola de Futbol.

The €1m difference between the two bodies can be explained by the sporting performance of the two teams in the group stage. The Three Lions earned €2m thanks to one win (€1m) and two draws (twice €500,000), while La Roja earned €3m with three wins from three matches.

UEFA has earmarked a total of €331m for the 24 federations whose men's teams are taking part in Euro 2024.
