Euro 2024: François Letexier (FRA) appointed by UEFA to referee the Spain - England final

France's François Letexier has been appointed by UEFA's Referees Committee to officiate the Euro 2024 final between Spain and England at the Olympiastadion in Berlin (Germany) on Sunday 14/07 (kick-off at 21:00 CET), announced the European Confederation on 11/07/2024.

"The 35-year-old Frenchman, an international referee since 2017, has already officiated at 65 official UEFA matches in his career. At this year's Euro final tournament, he refereed three matches, including the Round of 16 match Spain-Georgia and two group stage matches Denmark-Serbia and Croatia-Albania, and also acted as a fourth official at the opening match Germany-Scotland in Munich. Last season, Letexier took charge of ten UEFA club competition matches in the Champions League and Europa League and was the fourth official at the 2024 Champions League final between Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid CF at Wembley (London, ENG). He was also the referee of the 2023 UEFA Super Cup between Manchester City FC and Sevilla FC in Piraeus, Greece," explained the body.
