Bundesliga: Deutsche Post becomes partner of FC Cologne until 2016-17

The German postal service Deutsche Post has become a partner of FC Cologne (Bundesliga) until the end of the 2016-17 season, the club announced on 03/02/2015.

The contract is estimated at €500,000 per year or €1.25m in total. Deutsche Post will be present on the LED advertising boards at the RheinEnergie Stadion (50,000 seats) and the club's media communications. The Bonn-based company also gets a quota of reserved VIP seats. Deutsche Post is also a partner of Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) and the DFB (German Football Association).

  • FC Cologne was promoted to the Bundesliga for the 2014-15 season after winning the 2.Bundesliga in 2013-14.
  • The club has achieved a turnover of €68.6m in 2013-14, an increase of 20.6% compared to 2012-13 (€56.9m)
  • Cologne recorded a net profit of €1.2m at 30/06/2014, against a net loss of €2.9m a year earlier.
