Ligue 1: Viagogo becomes international ticketing partner of Olympique Lyonnais

Viagogo, an online ticket marketplace, has become a partner of Olympique Lyonnais (Ligue 1) in order to sell its tickets internationally, the club announced on 02/02/2015. The multi-year agreement covers both the Gerland Stadium (40,500 seats) and the Grand Stade (58,000 seats), which is expected to be completed in January 2016.

Viagogo will sell "hundreds of public tickets for every type of seating" said Xavier Pierrot, the stadium manager of Olympique Lyonnais, to News Tank on 04/02/2015. However, the partnership does not allow season ticket holders to resell their match tickets. Ticketing represented 11%, €13m, of the club's revenue in 2013-14.
