Social media: 23 million additional followers for the 24 teams that took part in Euro 2024

With 5.228 million additional followers gained on social media (Facebook, X, Instagram and TikTok) during their Euro 2024 campaign (from 14/06 to 14/07/2024), the French national team was the national team that gained the most followers during the competition. This figure represents an increase of 12.6%.

Les Bleus are ahead of Spain, who were crowned European champions (2-1 victory over England on 14/07), with 4.744 million more followers than at the start of the tournament (+34.4%). England, finalists in the competition, complete the podium with an additional 2.09 million followers, an increase of 5.8%.

In total, the participating teams had more than 204 million cumulative followers on social media by 15/07/2024, 23 million more than at the start of Euro 2024 (+13%).
