FIFA Club World Cup: call for tenders for TV rights in America, Asia and MENA (2025 & 2029)

FIFA has launched a call for tenders for the broadcasting rights to the 2025 and 2029 editions of the new Club World Cup for America, Asia and MENA on 15/07/2024.

"Media companies and organisations wishing to participate in the process can request the invitation to tender (ITT) by e-mailing FCWC-media-rights@fifa.org. The deadline for bid submissions is 16:00 CEST on Tuesday, 20/08/2024. A second phase covering Europe as well as Sub-Saharan Africa will be staged, with precise timings to follow in due course," said the world body.

The 2025 edition will be the first in the new Club World Cup format and will take place in the United States from 15/06 to 13/07/2025. It will initially comprise a group stage with eight groups of four teams, who will compete in a single-elimination mini-championship. The top two teams in each group will qualify for the Round of 16, which will open a knockout phase leading to the final.
