Euro 2024: best audience of 2024 on TF1 & a record audience for eight years on M6 in France

46.9 million viewers watched the 13 Euro 2024 matches broadcast on the French private free-TV channel M6 (at least 10 consecutive seconds), according to data from the audience measurement institute Médiamétrie communicated by the M6 group on 15/07/2024. Three million users also followed the competition on the M6+ streaming platform.

The channel recorded its "best audience for eight years" with the Portugal - France quarter-final (0-0 after extra time, 3-5 on penalties), which drew an average of 12.66 million viewers on M6 on Friday 05/07/2024 (kick-off at 21:00 CET), according to Médiamétrie. Total audience share: 58%. The match also drew "more than one million live viewers on M6+, an absolute record."

TF1 posted the best audience of 2024 in France, all channels combined, for the semi-final between Spain and France (2-1), which drew an average of 16.12 million viewers, with a peak of 17.8 million on the private free-TV channel on Tuesday 09/07/2024 (kick-off at 21:00 CET).
