Euro 2024: UEFA grants prize money from €9.75m to €28.25m to the 24 teams for a total of €331m

The 24 federations whose national teams took part in Euro 2024 in Germany will receive between €9.75m and €28.25m from UEFA, the competition organisers. This brings the total prize money to €331m.

As a result of their results in the group stage - a draw and two defeats - at the end of which they were eliminated, four national teams will each receive €9.75m: Poland, the Czech Republic, Albania and Scotland.

Conversely, Spain (RFEF), the only team to have won its three group stage matches and the overall winners of Euro 2024, will receive the maximum possible: €28.25m.

The Real Federacion Espanola de Futbol is ahead of The Football Association, since the English team, which lost the final (1-2), will receive €24.25m. The Fédération Française de Football completes the podium, with €19.25m. That's €500,000 more than the Netherlands (KNVB), who were also eliminated in the semi-finals, but did not fare as well in the group stage (one win and two draws for France; one win, one draw and one defeat for the Netherlands).
