France/LFP: 1,825 organisations supported by CSR initiatives of Ligue 1 & Ligue 2 clubs in 2023-24

The 38 Ligue 1 McDonald's and Ligue 2 BKT clubs initiated CSR actions in 2023-24 that supported 1,825 organisations, according to the eighth edition of the "Jouons-la collectif" ("Let's Play Together") report published by the Ligue de Football Professionnel on 17/07/2024 (document available to download, see downloads).

"The initiatives of French professional clubs, which are increasingly involved in their CSR actions, cover a wide range of themes such as child protection, diversity, the fight against discrimination and sexist and sexual violence, accessibility for people with disabilities, health and environmental transition," said the LFP.

"A new feature of the 2023-24 Club Licence campaign was the introduction of a fourth family of criteria, dedicated to CSR, totalling 1,000 points out of the 10,000 contained in the licence. In its first year of existence, 55.9% of points in the Ligue 1 McDonald's and 49.17% of points in the Ligue 2 BKT were obtained on average.
