2030 World Cup: presentation of Spain's 11 stadiums, after Morocco's 6 & Portugal's 3

The Real Federacion Espanola de Futbol has presented the 11 Spanish stadiums selected as part of the joint bid by Spain, Morocco and Portugal, the only countries in the running to host the 2030 World Cup (second edition with 48 teams) on 19/07/2024. With the six Moroccan and three Portuguese stadiums (see below), the bid includes 20 venues, the maximum threshold set by FIFA.

The capital, Madrid, and the city of Barcelona have each placed two stadiums in this selection, made by the RFEF in collaboration with the Spanish government through the CSD. However, the future Nou Mestalla in Valencia, the country's third most populous city, is not among the 11 stadiums selected:
• Madrid: Metropolitano (home of Club Atlético de Madrid) and Santiago Bernabéu (Real Madrid CF);
• Barcelona: Camp Nou (FC Barcelona) and RCDE Stadium (RCD Espanyol de Barcelona);
• San Sebastian: Anoeta (Real Sociedad);
• Las Palmas: Gran Canaria (UD Las Palmas);
• Sevilla: La Cartuja (Olympic Stadium);
• Malaga: La Rosaleda (Malaga CF);
• Zaragoza: Nueva Romareda (Real Zaragoza);
• Bilbao: San Mamés (Athletic Club Bilbao)…
