Premier League: Manchester City FC, first football club to launch a map on Fortnite (video game)

Manchester City FC (Premier League) has become the "first club" to launch a map on the video game Fortnite (Epic Games), announced the club on 20/07/2024.

The experience, named "The Ladder" and accessible for free, is a competitive world in the club's colours. "Designed with support from Karta, the map will see players strive to club the ranks in intense one-v-one matches, with their positions constantly changing based on their performances," explained Manchester City.

"To celebrate the launch, the club will release content across our channels during the men's first team pre-season tour in the US with special activations planned around City's first fixture against Celtic FC (William Hill Premiership) in Chapel Hill, North Carolina (on 24/07/2024)," added the club.
