Paris 2024: competitions start on 24/07 with football at 15:00 & rugby 7s at 15:30 CET

⚽️ Uzbekistan - Spain (Group C) at the Parc des Princes (Paris)
⚽️ Argentina - Morocco (Group B) at the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard (Saint-Étienne, Loire)

These two men's football matches, scheduled for Wednesday 24/07/2024 with kick-off at 15:00 CET, will be the very first matches of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, two days before the Opening Ceremony on Friday 26/07/2024.

The 12 other men's teams will play on the same day, at 17:00, 19:00 and 21:00, including the France - USA match in Marseille (21:00 CET).

The men's and women's football tournaments (12 teams/first matches on Thursday 25/07/2024 including France - Colombia in Lyon at 21:00) start earlier (calendar available to download) to allow teams to have two full days' rest between each match (three group stage matches, quarter-finals, semi-finals, then the match for third place & final).

Half an hour after football, the men's rugby 7s tournament will kick off at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis (Seine-Saint-Denis) on Wednesday 24/07/2024 with the Australia - Samoa match (15:30), followed by the Argentina - Kenya match (16:00).
