Real Madrid CF: record revenues of €1bn (+27%) in 2023-24, the highest ever for a football club

Real Madrid CF (LALIGA EA Sports) posted revenues of €1.073bn for the 2023-24 financial year (01/07/2023 to 30/06/2024), up 27% on 2022-23 (€843m), announced the club following its board meeting on 23/07/2024. Real Madrid, which broke its record for revenue generated excluding transfers, has become the "first football club to exceed €1bn in revenue."

These annual results, which do not take into account the ongoing project to renovate the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu, will still have to be approved by the next general members assembly. Real Madrid posted an EBITDA of €156.3m, stable compared to the previous year (€157.6m). The Spanish club's net profit rose by 32% to €15.6m, compared with €11.8m in 2022-23.

At 30/06/2024, the 2023-24 LALIGA EA Sports and Champions League winners' equity was also stable, at €574m (compared with €558.3m at 30/06/2023), though treasury was down sharply, at €82m compared with €128.2m at the end of the 2022-23 financial year. This difference can be explained by the start of repayment of the loans taken out to renovate the Bernabéu.
