AFC Bournemouth: bj88 (sports betting), main shirt sponsor for 2 seasons (2024-2026)

bj88, an established sports betting and gambling operator in Asia and Latin America and "soon to be present in the UK", has become a partner and main shirt sponsor (first level) of AFC Bournemouth for two seasons (2024-2026), announced the club on 23/07/2024. "The commercial investment made by bj88 is the largest in club history and will help with its objectives of being competitive in the Premier League," added the club.

The exact value of the deal has not been communicated as of 24/07/2024, however it is estimated to be worth nearly double the previous agreement with Dafabet, a Philippines-based online sports betting and gambling operator, which became a partner and main shirt sponsor of AFC Bournemouth for the 2022-2024 cycle on 25/06/2022, as part of an agreement worth a reported £4m per year, according to British daily The Guardian.

bj88, which has the status of principal partner (first level), will be featured on the front of the club's men's first team shirts, while "as per previous seasons, adult and youth kits will continue to be sold without the sponsor logo," said AFC…
