Paris 2024/Argentina-Morocco: Argentine Football Association files a complaint with FIFA

"The Asociación del Fútbol Argentino (Argentinian Football Association) informs that, due to the public events that occurred today in the match between our Under-23 national team and their Moroccan counterparts, a formal complaint has been lodged with the FIFA Disciplinary Committee, in order to take the necessary regulatory measures for an event of such gravity," announced the AFA on 24/07/2024.

"It is imperative to ensure the safety of the players for the peaceful development of this beautiful sport that is football, and from the Mother House of Argentine football, we will do whatever is necessary to make this happen," added the Argentinian Football Association.

It is reacting to the incidents that occurred in the final minutes of the Argentina - Morocco match (1-2), the first game in Group B of the Paris 2024 men's football tournament, played at the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard in Saint-Étienne (Loire, FRA) on Wednesday 24/07.
