Paris 2024: over a million visitors to celebration sites since the start of the Games

"Since the opening of the Club 2024 zones (on 24/07/2024), more than a million visitors have come to experience the thrill of the athletes' exploits at the celebration sites," announced Paris 2024 on 30/07/2024.

The Club 2024 zones are areas dedicated to the Olympic and Paralympic Games, offering free sporting and cultural activities, live broadcasts of the competitions on big screens and introductions to sporting disciplines. "Thanks to the exceptional involvement of the host communities and the players who have been awarded the Terre de Jeux 2024 label, more than 150 Club 2024 zones have already opened throughout France. From the smallest town, Méral in Mayenne, to Dijon, Saint-Brévin les Pins and Saint-Gingolph, France is committed to making the Games a great popular celebration."

Among the other attendance figures provided by the COJOP:
• 26,000 people visited the Champions Park at Trocadéro (Paris 16^th arrondissement) on its opening day on 29/07/2024;
• 250,000 visitors to the Nations Park at la Villette (Paris 19^the arrondissement) since 27/07/2024;
