The British betting company Betway has replaced Alpari (trading) as the shirt sponsor of West Ham United (Barclays Premier League), announced the club on 06/02/2015. The agreement, which takes effect immediately, covers the 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons, the latter being the year that the club becomes the tenants of the Olympic Stadium in London (54,000 seats).

The company, which also provides online poker services and a virtual casino, will acquire the naming rights to the West Stand of the Boleyn Ground (35,000 seats) as well as visibility on the team's training kit. The deal is reportedly worth £6m (€8m) per season, a new record for the Hammers, says the British newspaper The Telegraph. Alpari, which was declared insolvent on 16/01/2015, paid €3.8m annually to the club.

  • In addition to Betway, West Ham is also a partner of the betting operators MarathonBet and Winner.co.uk in 2014-15.
    • These two operators enjoy visibility on the club's advertising boards and presence in the clubs media communications.
