The Football Association: Emirates (airline) extends FA Cup naming rights for 2024-2028

The airline Emirates has extended its naming rights to the FA Cup for a further four seasons over the 2024-2028 cycle, announced The Football Association on 01/08/2024. The competition will continue to be known as the Emirates FA Cup.

The airline acquired the rights on 30/05/2015 for an annual fee of £10m (€11.1m) per season over the 2015-2018 cycle, before extending them for the 2018-2021 cycle for the same amount. Renewed for a further three seasons (2021-2024) on 05/11/2021, the agreement was upgraded to £18.5m (€21.9m) per year. Emirates is expected to pay a similar sum to The FA over the 2024-2028 cycle.

The competition, which sees "over 700 clubs and 10,000 players across ten levels of the English football pyramid" compete each year, attracted more than 96 million cumulative viewers for the 2023-24 edition and is broadcast in "in over 200 countries worldwide", according to the Football Association, which will continue to organise "an annual international Emirates FA Cup trophy tour" with its partner as part of this renewed agreement.
