Ligue 1: social media communities of the clubs 15 days before the start of the 2024-25 season

The 18 Ligue 1 McDonald's clubs have a total of 253.6 million followers on social media (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and X), an average of 14.1 million per club, according to readings taken by News Tank Football on 01/08/2024, just over two weeks before the start of the 2024-25 season.

Paris Saint-Germain, the 2023-24 French champions, have the highest cumulative total, with 173.9 million followers. PSG alone comprise 68% of the total number of followers of all Ligue 1 clubs, and dominate the rankings on every platform. They are followed by AS Monaco FC (20.1 million) and Olympique de Marseille (19.4 million).

AJ Auxerre, 2023-24 Ligue 2 BKT champions and therefore promoted to Ligue 1, have the fewest fans online, with 553,168 followers. The Yonne-based club is ahead of Le Havre AC, in 17^th place with 554,162 followers, and Angers SCO (16^th), also promoted, who have 696,068 fans.
