VfL Wolfsburg: Sebastian Rudolph succeeds Frank Witter as chairman of the supervisory board

Sebastian Rudolph has succeeded Frank Witter as president of the supervisory board of VfL Wolfsburg (Bundesliga) with effect from 01/08/2024, announced the German club on 26/07/2024. Frank Witter had held this position since 2018.

"Since 2019, Rudolph has been head of the communications, sustainability and politics department of Porsche AG, and head of global communications for Volkswagen since 2022. He has also been part of the supervisory board committee of VfL Wolfsburg since 2023. VfL Wolfsburg-Fußball GmbH is a full subsidiary of Volkswagen AG," explained the club.

"We are restructuring the VfL Wolfsburg supervisory board and making a change at the top to usher in the next generation in sporting terms, while maintaining a sense of continuity and promoting an active manager. Sebastian Rudolph is a very experienced communications professional who has had close ties with VfL for many years.
