Media: a letter signed by 14 organisations to the CEO of X to improve the fight against piracy

A number of sports bodies have signed a letter to Linda Yaccarino, CEO of X Corp (owner of the social network X), "to draw X’s immediate attention to its persistent failings in the fight against the availability of unlawful content on its platform and urgently call for a meeting with X's representatives to address this unacceptable situation," according to the American news agency Associated Press on 31/07/2024.

The letter currently has 14 signatories, including bodies such as the Premier League, LALIGA, the DFL, UEFA and CONMEBOL, as well as broadcasters such as the pay-TV group beIN Media Group, OTT platform DAZN and pay-TV packages Movistar Plus+ (Telefonica) and Sky.
