Real Betis Balompié: €42.9m capital increase finalised after 4^th round of financing

Real Betis Balompié (LALIGA EA Sports) have received a subscription of €2m from 172 shareholders via the purchase of 5,434 shares as part of the fourth phase of its capital increase process, announced the club on 04/08/2024.

Together with the €20.5m subscribed in the first round, the €14.6m in the second round and the €5.8m in the third round, this €2m brings the company's capital increase to €42.9m, the target set by the issue of 117,500 new shares at a unit price of €365.44. The €42.9m was subscribed by 582 members of the club who already held shares in the company, as well as 766 new shareholders, making a total of 1,348 people.

"This capital increase is a key process for, firstly, balancing Real Betis Balompié's financial situation, burdened by the losses of the financial years 2019-20, 2020-21 and 2021-22, years in which the stadiums remained totally or partially closed.
