News Tank Football: elections, appointments & departures in July 2024

• Pascale Van Damme (55) has been re-elected president of the Royal Belgian Football Association for a further two years, until 2026, announced the RBFA on 28/06/2024. She was the sole candidate in the election, which was organised by the RBFA's board of directors, who unanimously nominated her.

• Stefano Melis has been promoted to general manager of Cagliari Calcio (Serie A Enilive) with effect from 01/07/2024, announced the club on 30/06/2024. The position had not been filled since Mario Passetti's departure in November 2022.

• Former Italian international striker Fabrizio Ravanelli, who played for Olympique de Marseille (Ligue 1 McDonald's) for two seasons (from 1997 to 1999), has returned to the club as an "institutional and sporting adviser," announced the club on 08/07/2024.
