Paris 2024: "best week ever" for Eurosport in France with an audience share of 1.2% (29/07-02/08)

The pay-TV group Eurosport (Warner Bros. Discovery) posted its "best week ever" in France from 29/07 to 02/08/2024, with an average audience share of 1.2% on its Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2 channels, according to data from the audience measurement institute Médiamétrie communicated by the group on 05/08/2024.

The Eurosport.fr website recorded 7.2 million unique visitors over the period for a total of 148.4 million pages and 24 million video views, according to the group. In addition, 550 million videos were viewed and more than 705 million impressions were generated on the Olympic posts on Eurosport France's social networks.

The men's 200-metre butterfly final, won by France's Léon Marchand, drew an average of 583,000 viewers, with a peak of 799,000 on Eurosport 1 on Wednesday 31/07/2024 (from 20:40 to 20:43 CET), according to Médiamétrie. Audience share: 2.6%.

Teddy Riner's individual quarter-final against Georgia's Guram Tushishvili posted 10.8 million views on Eurosport's Instagram account and more than 645,000 views on Eurosport.fr, according to the group.
