Premier League: DAZN extends broadcasting rights in Spain & Portugal for the 2025-2028 cycle

DAZN has extended its exclusive broadcasting rights to the Premier League in Spain for the 2025-2028 cycle, announced the OTT sports platform on 06/08/2024.

DAZN has held the media rights to the English top flight in this territory since 2019. The platform acquired these rights for the 2019-2022 cycle on 13/11/2018, a few months before its launch on the Spanish market on 27/02/2019.

DAZN, which also broadcasts LALIGA EA Sports over the 2022-2027 period (five games per matchday) in Spain, recently acquired the exclusive broadcasting rights to the Serie A Enilive in the same territory for the 2024-2027 cycle on 30/07/2024. The agreement also includes TV rights to the Coppa Italia Frecciarossa and the Supercoppa Italiana (EA Sports FC Supercup).

DAZN also extended its TV rights to the Premier League in Portugal for 2025-2028, on 06/08/2024. The British streaming service has held the TV rights to the Premier League in the country since the takeover in 2023 of pay-TV group Eleven (the original holder of the TV rights to the Premier League in Portugal for 2022-2025).
