FC Barcelona: 10% of Barça Vision sold to Aramark (€40m), which becomes the club's catering partner

Aramark, an American catering services provider, has become a shareholder in Bridgeburg Invest, the holding company of Barça Vision, FC Barcelona's (LALIGA EA Sports) content platform, which brings together all the club's Web3, NFTs and metaverse initiatives, as well as being the catering partner for the future Spotify Camp Nou, announced the club on 08/08/2024.

In concrete terms, the American company is acquiring 10% of Bridgeburg Invest for €40m, according to the Spanish media. The holding company is itself a subsidiary of Barça Studios, the entity set up by FC Barcelona to centralise the creation, production and distribution of all its audiovisual and digital content.

Aramark is buying the shares in Bridgeburg Invest that the German company Libero football finance (financial consultancy, listed on the Frankfurt stock exchange) had initially acquired in August 2023, before being taken to court by the Catalan club for non-payment. As part of the deal, 19.5% of Bridgeburg Invest's shares were also sold to Dutch investment fund NIPA Capital for €80m.
