UEFA: PlayStation (Sony console) renews as a sponsor of the UEFA Champions League (2024-2027)

PlayStation, the video games console owned by Japanese group Sony Interactive Entertainment, has renewed its sponsorship of the UEFA Champions League for a further three seasons, from 2024-2027, announced UEFA on 08/08/2024. The rights also extend to the UEFA Super Cup, Youth League and Futsal Champions League over the same cycle.

As part of the renewed agreement, the brand remains the main sponsor of the PlayStation Man of the Match trophy, Champions League Fantasy Football, UEFA's official fantasy league, and the eChampions League, the body's esports competition played on the EA Sports FC video game. A partner of the Champions League since 1997-98, PlayStation also retains visibility on pitch-side LED signage in stadiums hosting matches in the competition, as well as on interview backdrops.

Four other brands have renewed their partnerships with the Champions League (which had eight sponsors over the 2021-2024 cycle) for the next rights cycle:
