Italy: DAZN & Rai renew Serie A Femminile eBay broadcasting rights for 2024-2027

The OTT sports platform DAZN and the public broadcasting group Rai have extended their broadcasting rights for the Serie A Femminile eBay in Italy for the 2024-2027 cycle (three seasons), announced the Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio on 09/08/2024.

DAZN will continue to broadcast all matches in the Italian women's top division, while Rai will continue to co-broadcast one game per matchday. The public group will also broadcast the Coppa Italia final and the women's Supercoppa Italiana on its channels. The two entities had acquired the domestic media rights to Serie A Femminile eBay for one season at the start of the 2024-25 financial year.

"By acquiring the audiovisual rights to Serie A Femminile eBay, DAZN confirms itself as the benchmark broadcaster for women's football, with a schedule that also includes the Women's Champions League, Liga F and the Google Pixel Frauen-Bundesliga, as well as many other leagues. After the excellent ratings for the 2023-24 season, RAI has also decided to bet again on the women's movement," said the FIGC.
