Sponsorship: major changes for Ligue 1 McDonald's clubs for the 2024-25 season

With four clubs each under contract, Nike and Puma are the most represented equipment suppliers among the nine brands partnered with the 18 clubs that comprise the 2024-25 Ligue 1 McDonald's (compared with 11 equipment suppliers in 2023-24). Both are ahead of their German counterpart adidas, which supplies kit to three clubs.

There have been two changes of equipment supplier for the new season: Puma succeeds Umbro at Stade de Reims, while Nike replaces Craft at Toulouse FC. Of the agreements already in force for the 2023-24 season, only one was extended before the start of the 2024-25 season: that of adidas for a further five seasons (2024-2029) with Olympique Lyonnais (€11m per year). Five clubs will also see their equipment supplier contracts expire at the end of the 2024-25 season: FC Nantes and AJ Auxerre, both with Macron, as well as AS Monaco FC (with Kappa), Stade Brestois 29 (with adidas) and Le Havre AC (with Joma).
