2024-25 Serie A Enilive: all you need to know about the 20 clubs in the Italian top flight

FC Inter Milan, champions of Italy in 2023-24, will be defending their title when the 2024-25 Serie A Enilive season begins on Saturday 17/08/2024.

Inter, who changed ownership in May 2024 (the American investment fund Oaktree took over from the Chinese group Suning), will be looking to retain their title against ambitious opponents, starting with neighbours AC Milan, runners-up last season. Thanks to the UEFA coefficient obtained by Italy for the 2023-24 season alone (21,000 points, the best performance in European), the Serie A will send a total of five clubs to the Champions League. Atalanta BC, fourth in the league and Europa League winners, Juventus FC (3^rd) and Bologna FC 1909 (5^th) will accompany the two Milan clubs.

AS Roma (6^th) and SS Lazio (7^th) have qualified for the new league phase of the Europa League, while ACF Fiorentina (8^th) will face FC Ararat-Armenia (ARM) or Puskás Akadémia FC (HUN) in the Conference League play-offs on 22/08 (first leg) and 29/08 (second leg) for a place in the league phase.
