Tennis: Aperol (alcohol, Campari Group, ITA) extends as official partner of the US Open until 2024

Aperol, a spirits brand belonging to the Italian Campari group, has extended as an official partner (3^rd level) of the US Open for a second consecutive edition of the American Grand Slam tournament in 2024 (from 26/08 to 08/09), according to the United States Tennis Association (USTA), the tournament's organising body, on 13/08/2024.

To mark the renewal of this partnership, Aperol has unveiled a capsule collection co-branded with the US Open (see below) and will be launching digital campaigns, in particular via ESPN's streaming service (which holds the exclusive rights to broadcast the tournament in its entirety in the United States over the 2015-2026 cycle for an annual sum of $70m/€65m).

As part of the agreement, the brand will also have three points of sale at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center (New York, USA), which hosts the tournament:
• the Aperol Spritz Bar, an outdoor branded area located at the main entrance to Arthur Ashe Stadium, which will offer "aperitivo boxes" (light bites paired with a cocktail);
