UEFA Women's Euro 2025: EBU acquires full broadcasting rights for 34 European countries

The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) has acquired the rights from UEFA to broadcast the UEFA Women's Euro 2025 (to be held in Switzerland from 02 to 27/07/2025) in its entirety in 34 European territories (list below), announced the alliance of public service media organisations present in 56 European countries, on 14/08/2024.

"The media rights acquired encompass broadcast on TV, digital, and radio, with EBU Members demonstrating their commitment to enhancing the visibility of women's football across Europe at an unprecedented level," said the EBU. The agreement provides for all matches to be broadcast live on the free-to-air channels and digital platforms of the broadcasters involved, as well as highlights and summaries.

"Eurovision Sport, the EBU's new free-to-air streaming platform (launched in February 2024), will provide additional coverage of the tournament, aiming to complement EBU member broadcasts and offering greater distribution and access to fans," added the European Broadcasting Union.
