LALIGA: beIN SPORTS extends exclusive its broadcasting rights in 23 MENA & 11 APAC countries

beIN Media Group has signed an agreement extending its exclusive broadcasting rights to LALIGA, which will enable the beIN SPORTS channel to continue showing Spanish top flight matches in 23 territories in the MENA zone until the end of the 2027-28 season and a further 11 in the APAC zone until 2026-27, covering 34 markets in total, according to the Spanish professional football league on 14/08/2024, the day before the start of the 2024-25 LALIGA EA Sports season.

The 23 territories in the MENA zone, for which the Qatari group has held LALIGA broadcasting rights since 2003, are as follows: Algeria, Bahrain, Chad, Djibouti, Egypt, Iran, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates and Yemen. "beIN will also co-share LALIGA broadcast rights in Iraq with the regional platform 1001," added the Spanish body.
