Concacaf: strategic partnership with Saudi fund PIF & Riyadh Air (KSA) becomes an official sponsor

Concacaf has entered into a "multi-year partnership" with the Public Investment Fund (PIF), under which the Saudi Arabian public investment fund will be associated with all men's, women's and youth national team competitions, as well as club competitions organised by the Confederation, it announced on 15/08/2024.

As part of the partnership, the sovereign wealth fund "will support Concacaf in its efforts to increase the number of official youth championships it delivers in the coming years. This will provide further opportunities for emerging talents in the region including through the Concacaf under-15, under-17 and under-20 championships for both men and women and the under-17 and under-20 competitions serving as qualification tournaments for FIFA U17 and U20 World Cups respectively," explained Concacaf.

The PIF is also associated with existing actions undertaken by the Confederation, in particular the "Bigger Game" initiative "which leverages the popularity of football as a vehicle to deliver sport and education programmes and initiatives in local communities across its 41-member…
