Manchester United FC: Qualcomm extends until 2028-29 & becomes the club's first back shirt sponsor

American technology company Qualcomm, main shirt sponsor of Manchester United FC (Premier League) via its Snapdragon brand, has extended its partnership with the club, announced the company on 15/08/2024. The agreement, which covered the 2024-2027 cycle, has been extended to the end of 2028-29 (two additional seasons).

This partnership now also includes sponsorship of the back of the club's shirts (for all Barclays Women's Super League matches and "certain other men's, women's and academy matches"). The American group thus becomes Manchester United's first ever back shirt sponsor. The logo of its Copilot+PC (AI assistant) brand first appeared on players' shirts during the Community Shield (won by Manchester City FC, 1-1, 6-7 on penalties) on 10/08/2024.
