EFL: beIN SPORTS extends its broadcasting rights in 27 countries, including France, for 2024-2028

beIN Media Group has extended its exclusive rights with the English Football League to broadcast matches from the Carabao Cup, Sky Bet Championship (2^nd division), Sky Bet League One (3^rd division) and Sky Bet League Two (4^th division) in 27 countries, announced the Qatari pay-TV group on 19/08/2024.

The new agreement will run for four seasons, i.e. for the 2024-2028 cycle. The deal covers the French, Australian and New Zealand markets as well as 24 other countries in the MENA region (Middle East and North Africa). "beIN has been the exclusive rights holder of the EFL for more than 14 years," explained the group. The previous agreement covered the 2018-2024 cycle (six seasons) and concerned 24 countries including France.

"Each year, beIN's flagship platforms- beIN SPORTS and beIN's OTT platform TOD- will have the exclusive rights to broadcast 155 matches from the Championship, 38 games from Leagues One and Two, all play-off matches throughout the EFL, and all 93 matches of the Carabao Cup for the first time," said beIN Media Group.
