Sponsorship: major changes for Bundesliga clubs for the 2024-25 season

With six clubs under contract, Puma is the most represented equipment supplier among the eight brands partnered with the 18 clubs that make up the Bundesliga in 2024-25 (compared with 10 brands in 2023-24). The German brand is ahead of its American rival Nike, which is represented by three clubs (one less than in 2023-24).

Puma, which equips a third of the clubs in the German top flight, has twice as many partner clubs as in 2023-24 (three clubs). The only two changes in terms of equipment supplier contracts for 2024-25 are to Puma's credit, as the brand has succeeded Nike at RB Leipzig as part of a "long-term agreement", and now supplies the kits for promoted side FC St. Pauli, who had been producing their own shirts via their own brand DIIY since the 2021-22 season. Puma is also the kit supplier for FC Heidenheim, who were promoted from the 2.Bundesliga at the end of the 2023-24 season.
